When is a vampire film not a vampire film? When Nicolas Cage thinks he has been bitten by a vampire woman. Cage, believing he has become a creature of the night, sleeps under an upturned couch, bites people with plastic fangs, eats live cockroaches and begs people to stake him through the heart. Besides all this insanity, he also torments a female employee he is obsessed with. It’s a beautiful, whack job of a movie.
